What is a squint?

A squint is a misalignment of the eyes. Our eyes are meant to be parallel and if our eyes are not parallel, that’s known as a squint. And the alignment may be in any direction – the eye may point in or they may point out or moreover they may point up or down.

And the problem with the squint is that they may cause double vision and double vision can be very disabling. Or it may be a cosmetic and unsightly problem. And in today’s society, where we are interacting with people, it’s a problem if your eyes are not aligned – people feel very embarrassed and uncomfortable by it.
